Bought this because it was thinner than other cushions and I needed something that wouldn't lift me up too much in my chair. Well it breathes well and seems very well made, but it's too heavy for me. The open tailbone design is nice and necessary for me, but the honeycomb material is too thick on the walls so it gets really hard when you push. I couldn't use it and had to resort to the worn out foam padding. I also tried laying it on a foam pad to see if it looked too much like a chair seat and no, that didn't help. This might work for you, but if you want SOFT, keep looking.
