Review on 🏠 Hape Dream Wooden Dollhouse by David Boone

We were looking for a dollhouse for small (NOT barbie sized) dolls that didn't have pre-printed room backgrounds (my 8 year old loves to decorate) and it wasn't too "young". This option is perfect. She likes magnetic boards and chalkboards (outside). The layout is big enough for two people to play at the same time. It was so easy to put together. It took me about 30 minutes but I wasn't in a hurry. The parts fit together perfectly and all the holes are pre-drilled so I could easily use a regular screwdriver.I was helped hold the second and third floors when I attached them, although you could do it yourself.As for the elevator - it works fine for us.Following the advice of another reviewer, I tried not to over tighten the screws in the parts that hold the lift in place.I checked the lift on these steps to make sure it was still moving , and loosened the screws when it got too stiff.In the end we added some wax which made it easier to move.
