Broke after a few years of use
I bought this antenna and used it as a base for several months. I removed it after moving to a new house and it has stood for several years. I recently installed HF on my second Tahoe and thought this antenna would work great with my 857d. The antenna broke 3 months after installation. It will no longer adjust or move at all. Rather expensive antenna, breaks after a year of use.
- Motorized trombone section Automatically lengthens/shortens to tune the antenna when the Yaesu tune button is pressed.
