I needed a device to hold the iPhone close to my face. I have vision problems that only allow me to read whole words when I'm close enough. After my first gadget failed, I try this one. So far, on day one, the setup is perfect. It's stable, I can align it and it stays in place. There's no way to push him off, so you'll need to be flexible enough to get up from your chair without hitting him. Worktops are no problem. It has plastic parts so I'm not sure how durable it will be, but it's light enough that I don't have to worry about it hitting or falling on me. In the photos it is attached to Ikea. Poang chair.
