I have been using multi blade razors for many years. You don't put in a new blade because it's dull, you replace a blade because it's clogged with hair and skin. The blade is still sharp, but no longer usable. With a single blade razor, you can remove the blade, rinse it, and use it until it's too dull to trim your beard. Also, the blades are cheap! You don't need a dozen blades to trim your beard. You only need one. A single-blade razor does the same job just as quickly for a lot less money. But make sure you buy the Butterfly type, others will require you to take apart to replace the blades. However, if you're a complete clot, you can cut yourself. So if you're an orangutan or have Parkinson's disease, stick with expensive multi-blade children's razors. If you are a man, buy this product.
