Works as intended - twisted arms
The armrests of my sofa are very wide. The tray didn't fit. I removed the clamps, added a few pieces of wood to the long ends, and reinstalled the clamps. Now it fits perfectly and I can put it on the front of my arm so my elbow doesn't hit it. The bottom of the tray is very cheap and reedy as I drilled holes for the screws. I had to screw on a piece of wood because the glue wouldn't hold. Trey holds my remote and mug well. The tray can support my 10lb cat sitting on it.
