Cherry 29-Inch Boraam Kyoto Bar Height Swivel Stool Review

After searching for a few weeks in several local furniture stores we looked on revain. We liked the style of these stools and they were fairly simple for my husband to assemble. They feel solid with the exception of the thinner curved wood in the back center. I am worried after time these pieces may give and break, but for the price we are happy! I'd buy them again and recommend them to friends looking for a really nice stool on a budget.

I can't say enough about these stools! they are sturdy; was no where near as long to put together as everyone said they were. I did each one in about 30 minutes. the tools and directions are easy. they look great!

The chair was well packaged, and the look of the wood and seat very attractive. My only problem with it is that the top part of the chair doesn't stay tightened and I am assuming this is becuase of the swivel. Also, the back of my calf rubs the bottom of the swivel and I find it uncomfortable. Juding from other people's comments that I read before purchasing this chair, these may be issues that only bother me.

The chairs look really nice, but weren't what I was looking for. The quality is mediocre at best. The seat was comfortable but the chair back was not sturdy and could see where someone larger then average person could break it. Returned all 6 that I ordered and continue to be on the hunt.

Low rating because we had to order 5 stools in order to get 2 that were not damaged. It is a heavy, sturdy stool. Downside is the slats across seat back at too thin. Can easily crack in half. This is what happened in shipping. The stool components were so tightly crammed in the box that 3 stools arrived with back slat cracked from too much tension on it. Delivery was within 3 days. The stools were remarkably easy to assemble ( I did it all by myself!)The price for them was like a gift as the quality of the wood, the seat cushion, the sturdiness of thestool was far more superior than many others I had seen. They even have the gliders on them.My grandson tipped over sitting in one of the metal style stool ( fortunately no boo-boos) whichcost as much as this solid wood one!

These bar stools are excellent for the price. They are comfortable and stylish for the kitchen bar in our condo.I like the color of the cherry wood finish and they have the appearance of a higher price piece of furniture.I would buy again and recommend them. We bought two for our condo bar.

This stool is great and the fit and finish looks fantastic. Please be aware that the screws provided for the legs of the stool may be too long for the leg. If you are tightening the screws to the legs and the screw beings to feel tight but there is still play in between the leg and the main base, STOP TIGHTENING. You will need to either pick up some more black washers to add to the screw inside the base or get shorter screws. It baffles me that this manufacture is still sending screws that are…

I ordered 2 and one came damaged, revain sent me a replacement right away. The cushion is not very plush and I probably should have ordered the shorter model for my island. Other then that I am satisfied with the value.

I purchased four stools from revain and they were all delivered in a timely manner. The back has a slightly oriental look and the seats are very comfortable. They all feel sturdy and look very attractive.

Stools were nice and they are good quality. We ordered 4 stools total. The seats are not consistent as far as how hard/soft they are. 3 of our stools have relatively hard seat cushions and the 4th stool was soft and comfortable. Otherwise, they are a good buy for the price.

Beware. They come in packs of two. If one happens to be damaged, you need to return both, which is really inconvenient if you've already put the other one together because it has to be taken apart! Purchased 4 of the Boraam Kyto barstools. My husband was able to assemble them with relative ease in about an hour.A little disappointed after a few days, the screws provided for the backs were too long and split the wood in the first couple of days. I love my new bar stools! After I had first sen them online, I tried looking locally but couldn't find anything that came close. The contrast between the dark cherry wood and the black leather seat is really attractive. I found the instructions easy to follow, but at times I had some difficulty because the wood is so solid, the pieces were heavier than I had thought. That's a problem I happily accept. Love these chairs -- we got them for our bar down in the basement and they look fantastic! The top of the bar is black granite with some brown flecks in it and these chairs match the granite perfectly. They are heavy and swivel, which is exactly what we wanted. We had bought some chairs from this company before for our island in the kitchen and loved them, which is why we went back to this company. This is a nice stool but requires some patience when assembling it on your own. I didn't put the right bolts in one of the steps and ended cracking one of the legs or the stool. Separate the bolts per length in advance and be sure not to mix them.Once finished, the stool solid and a bit heavier than what I expected, but it's assuring since you're going to put all your weight on it.
