I ordered this fan after reading the reviews and it seems to have the most positive ratings. So as soon as I received it, I immediately tested it and I liked it. I was skeptical how such a small fan could cool me, but it definitely helped. The low-medium high wind mode is great, even the lowest setting will do on a warm day. Medium and high are even better. It's 36 degrees outside today, I'm sitting at home and turning it up, it's about 4 feet from me, the breeze is good enough for me and my wife. This is very acceptable, as is the high background noise. I also like the oscillating mode, which I really didn't expect from a small battery-powered fan. As for the battery, I fully charged it and was able to use it for almost a week, at least a few hours or more a day on Low, Medium and High modes and it still gave 2 dots on the battery gauge. I reloaded it. So, I will say that this is a very good battery powered portable fan for the money. Well made and has lots of great features, remote control allows you to control it from a distance, height adjustment and night light. We're looking to get our 4 kids one for Christmas. Take this, you won't regret it, I'm happy.
