Great scan tool, small package

What I like about the YA-1011. That's small. I've never had a scanner in my truck toolbox [now I have it]. It's the perfect size for truck storage2. So far I can't talk about having lifetime updates on it. I know I've spent hundreds of dollars on an Innova scanner that won't work on any car after 2014. I called Inova and they said there would be no updates and that it would only work as a simple scanner. Yawoa says there are lifetime updates, time will tell.3. Live alternator data is an asset.4. The price of the YA-101 is perfect. My buddy said he paid over $50 for his and it is currently not working. Revain Prime delivered my scanner today and right after it was delivered my buddy called and asked if I could clear the code on his 2009 Saturn Outlook that we recently had the catalytic converter replaced. He tried to use his Actron PocketScan Plus but the codes would not reset. I-101 worked without problems.6. I also used it today to read, read and erase an engine check on another friend's 07 Hyundai Sonata. I highly recommend the YA-101. The price-performance ratio is unsurpassed. Several friends I spoke to about the scanner were impressed and couldn't believe the price.
