Reading the specs this seemed like a great backup for my BFF8HP. I was dismayed as both the manual and the Odmaster app said it only had 2 power levels but the radio and my meter showed it had 3. The antenna was good on VHF but had a very long range on UHF. This is fine for some frequencies, but for hams at 70cm I would consider a narrower band option. The USB charger was really handy and very portable. The bluetooth programmer turns it into a great travel radio as it is very easy to add repeaters with this feature.
