Review on Red Audio-Technica ATH-LS50iSRD In-Ear Monitor Headphones: Enhanced with Mic & Control by Timothy Henry

Im impressed with these headphones. I used to buy Audio Technica but they outperformed themselves on price. Pros: Really high quality construction. Sound reproduction is comparable to headphones in the $200 range (but much cheaper). A rigid, adjustable cable for in-ear use is a life-saving feature that I never would have thought of. The control button is responsive and almost never accidentally pressed. Serious? A medium cable length can be problematic. You have problems with the fork popping out. No problem as I just received them but if this continues I may lower my rating. UPDATE: The cord next to the plug fell out intermittently. AT originally offered to send them in for warranty repair and they would fail for a few weeks which I put off as I didn't want to be without headphones. I contacted the parts department and they shipped me a new cable overnight free of charge. Excellent customer service is a big part of my buying a product. Upgrade to 5 stars. 2nd update: The built-in microphone is fantastic. Speaker covers and grommets are outdated and keep falling out. That being said, they're great for office listening with one ear and power tools.
