Yes I have read other reviews where people have complained about the towel being 'not a towel' etc it's flimsy etc but we travel quite a bit and my towel the I've been hauling around the world, huge and super heavy. I was looking for a light weight option also for hiking etc and bought this microfiber towel. I didn't really plan on loving the towel, I was on the swim team when I was young, lived in the pool etc. I have to say this is a microfiber towel although it is thin yes it's great for travel very soft and absorbs water. I'm going to order another one and on my next trip I'll leave my huge heavy towel at home.
