As soon as you switch off the radio, all settings are lost. Luckily, they're easy enough to install. But it's incredibly annoying when you want to give them to your kids and disable them from the default channels. It's such a basic thing to save settings. I don't know, maybe it was overlooked. This is a good size for children. When I first saw the box I thought they were tiny. But they actually do a pretty good job of packing them in there. They use a USB-C connector, so they charge quickly. Scrolling through the menu is fast. So after selecting a setting, press the PTT button. But it brings you back to the main screen every time. There is a key lock. So if you set them up, kids can't change the settings unless they know how to unlock them. Or if not turn off and on again. The above transmission is clear. So you have it. I don't think I can recommend them due to the lack of the ability to save settings. It's only half the job.
