This is the best product I have ever bought! I have 2 painted turtles male and female. As he got older the male became more aggressive so I had to separate them. Glad they're back in the same aquarium!

I made these to separate an aggressive turtle from its siblings. It was easy to assemble with a light tap of a hammer. The suction cups hold up well, I've found them to come loose but not slip. I recommend tilting the barrier towards the smarter turtle as this little demon can climb!

Ideal for 29 gallon aqueon purchased from Petco. Once assembled I was left with a rectangular piece and a few extra suction cups. If you buy 3 of these, it's enough to make 4 dividers the size of a 29 gallon tank (enough dividers and suction cups). Very durable - just what I needed!

This is an exceptional product for the price. I was able to easily assemble the parts by carefully using a hammer. It is stronger with only two pieces of lattice, but becomes less durable as more is added. This was an easy fix though as I used zip ties to add strength. The product is also easy to cut. I was able to build a bulkhead for a 40 gallon tank in one order. The whole separator and suction cups hold up well. I will buy it again for another tank project.

I purchased this item hoping to separate my rooster fish and reduce the size to one tank. I would definitely not recommend this product! One of my males easily swam through the holes in the side of one of my females. I took him out and put him in my own and put my larger male dog in his place, no problem! They are extremely bad for their purpose. They don't stick together. General. The shapes don't even come close. The gap is just big enough for the thorn bush to squeeze in and get stuck. Everything else will go straight through. Anything else could probably drag him down. In all of this, I use them under hardscape before setting them in the substrate. Saves money on substrate and spreads the weight of large rocks. You can also glue the hardscape first to make sure it doesn't tip/shift/fall off.
