Carbon fiber doesn't stretch well.

If you're looking for a vinyl that stretches a lot from carbon fiber, this isn't it. Choose a solid color if you need it to stretch. This product is as advertised but note that carbon fiber does not stretch well. Can't say it enough.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Not for DIY in vinyl

Not for DIY. I have attempted to wrap the bonnet on my golf mk6 and failed miserably. Consult a professional if you are going to wrap the film unless it is a small piece or a flat surface with no outline. I wasted my money and do not recommend using this product for DIY projects.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Reverse print

Glue is terrible. Good looking

Garbage. Glue is terrible. Looks good, but if it doesn't last, what's the point? Just to be clear, on a flat surface it's ok not great but as soon as you try to glue it to a corner it's done. So I guess it depends on what you want. It's also not vinyl, vinyl is better for my application.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

You get what you pay for

I liked the color and design. Quality and ease of installation met expectations for the price but cheaper. What I didn't expect was how much the color would fade. The strip has been on my car for about 5 months now, since I ordered there was a piece of junk in the garage in the sun, both made from the same piece of vinyl. So be prepared for the blue to disappear and completely change in a short time.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • A little torn

Failed 4 month fade test

Bought this to box my pontoon boat. Before making the whole boat I made a few sections to check the paint for fading. Photo #1 compares the test section I took in April with the original video taken today. Photo #2 was taken the day I set up the test track. I was really hoping it would keep the color. Significant fading is evident after 4 short months. The boat was in a covered slipway, so there was only direct sun in the morning or evening. The product was very easy to work with and held up…

Ease of use and application

First of all I've never used autofoil, I do upholstery in small batches so I understand the stretch. VVIVID is a great product. It is very easy to handle and forgiving to beginners. I try different difficulty levels and surface textures and it just works. I wrapped a '66 Fairlane taillight housing and it worked. It was difficult not to mount it on the car but I learned a lot with this part. I highly recommend this product, it has countless uses. I'm interested in ultraviolet living here in the…

Good vinyl, suitable for vinyl wrap and accessories

I used this vinyl to wrap the top of a toolbox in the gun room so I could cover the top with stickers and if I wanted to go back to the wood top I could I do this. Just peel off the vinyl. This went pretty smoothly and easily. I have a few very small blisters but nothing noticeable at all. I then covered everything with a piece of clear PVC so I can't give a good review of how it holds up to abuse but the edges that aren't covered show no signs of wear in over 2 months. It's in my handcuffs and

Pros and Cons Good for vinyl wrap

Pros: This wrap looked good after my professional installer applied it. It met all my expectations for the look of my car. Cons: My installer had trouble working with this film. He said it took him twice as long to put the wrap on my car so he had to charge me twice as much; So much for saving when shopping at Revain Prime. The foil was so difficult to work with that he tried to wrap my side mirrors and couldn't get it to stick. He also explained that it was very difficult for them to get the…

Lighter than expected but still a really good product

Item received quickly and on time! I love the way it came out and it matched my 2015 VW Passat interior conversion perfectly. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Price - Thick and strong - Easy to apply - Adheres without pilling or peeling Cons: - Color is lighter than expected. - The roll is only 12 inches wide and each finish is wider than what needs to be done in two parts. (Note that other sizes are offered if you look for them.) Detail: The only disappointment was that the color was a bit…
