I think it was an object that evoked pretty strong feelings because I use it several times a week after showering. The old one did a very good job on small tiles and also removed water from the joints between the tiles. Then I broke off the handle. So I went to the store for the exact same thing and bought a new item based on the picture on the web as it looked identical to the old one. Both probably come from the same factory. A bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but hey, if you're attached to an item and expect the same replacement, it'll bring that little spark of use every time you use it. Well, buying what appeared to be the same thing again was a mistake. Compare old and new photos. Yes, both are white, presumably from the same source and look the same. However, the new one is (a) poorly built (b) thinner (c) the blade is flimsy, flimsy and cheap, and at most angles the plastic, not the blade, is scratching the tiles in the shower. See photos.
