I purchased two packages of L-citrulline powder from BulkSupplements a few months apart. I was impressed with the quality of the first pack but was surprised when the second pack had a completely different consistency and solubility than the first. I've always been skeptical of the supplement industry due to the lack of regulation and the fact that most supplements are made in China, where there are few concerns about the safety and quality of the ingredients (remember the melamine-in-milk scandal ? ), so it is important to find a dietary supplement manufacturer that uses their own safety controls to ensure a consistently high quality product. I thought BulkSupplements would be such a provider, but based on the difference I see between the two packages, I'm not sure now. I contacted BulkSupplements shortly after opening the package to report an issue I had seen with the product, but the customer service rep I corresponded with flatly refused to address my concerns. They state that their top priority is 100% customer satisfaction, but that's just not true. It's a shame because I've been a regular customer and have recommended their brand to several friends. But for now I'll probably stay away from BulkSupplements and warn others. Study after study shows that most supplements are adulterated with harmful substances and do not contain what is listed on the label. Buyers should therefore be careful to only do business with companies that fully support their products and have a strong commitment to quality. BulkSupplements did not reach this bar. Note the fine print of the returns policy on their website which is not mentioned on the Revain website nor in subsequent emails to the customer. Notice how little they cost behind open products. This policy is a telltale sign of a company that doesn't want to refund customers for products they believe are of poor quality. Stay away.
