Review on Protector AUOPLUS Outlets Extension Computer by Mike Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap. Weak. Unsuitable fastening material. But it works.

If you leave them on the floor or whatever, they're fine. It's appropriate to hold something that wide close to the wall. First, they're less than an inch long and won't even cut through drywall with enough grommets to fit in the closet. They use the flat surfaces of the screws as a retention mechanism that fits into slots in the case and must be wide enough to hold the case firmly against a flat surface (wall). You are too small to do all these things well. Too short to get a good grip on the wall, and in the end too small to push a large piece of plastic into the wall with enough force for you to safely plug and unplug something without tearing it off one day. There are no anchors with them. or. Those small screws and lack of anchors mean you probably won't have any, and it's oddly difficult to find other screws that fit the case since the slots are too small. The slots are tiny and again not the right size for what you want to firmly mount to the wall. No problem, because you can take the case off and cut the slots a bit wider to fit regular and real screws, right? Spring. They use those fancy triangular screws, so most likely not. I can take the extension to a hardware store and try to find something with a thin enough top that fits in the slot but is long enough to use a real anchor, or. Try to find this screwdriver or. I ended up using the really tiny dowels and screws they provided, but the holding power of the tiny screws on an item this size as it is means it will wobble. They need to be strong enough that the body of the extension pulls the screw back a bit and wedges the body between the back of the screw and the wall, and they are SMALL and the body flexes. and thin so that despite some very careful measuring and drilling, everything moves. It will work, but I'm not happy with it. In fact, it was necessary to buy something with a metal body. They usually have better assembly access.
