Hung these bulbs on a pole on our porch and they worked great and looked great (although the bulbs themselves are tiny so don't put out much light at all) for this one night The second night one of the strings didn't work. I figured maybe he didn't get enough sun or the cats knocked him off his perch, so I made no fuss and waited until the next evening. The same thing. One light came on with no problem, the other didn't. I checked to make sure they weren't off, they weren't off and the solar panel is in a part of my yard that gets almost full sunlight. Day, so a line is definitely defective. Worst of all, I don't want to send them back because I wrapped everything around the pole and porch in a special way, so it would be more of a hassle than trying to turn off one string of lights while leaving the other on. .
