Magnavox NB530MGX Blu Ray Manufacture Refurbished Review

This Blu-ray player is exactly what I need for my new HD flat screen TV. Watching movies on a regular DVD player is almost a shame now, so I'm glad I ordered this product.

I really like it and the fact that Netflix can make it even better! I would prefer a block connector! Anyway, the wires and terminals are color coded for easy hookup.

I will buy another system. The NB530MGX doesn't play half the Blueray discs I've bought recently. I spent most of this morning looking for a way to update this useless system. I can't find any information on how to solve this problem, it's just that I'm not the only one with the same problem, so it will soon be kicked out as it's just a useless item for me now. I bought this Blu-ray player from Walmart for $168. I had previously bought my parents a BD-Live Phillips player and decided I wanted one too. Well they didn't have them but they had one of these and the price looked great so I bought it. I am impressed. I'm not sure if these reviews weren't written about any firmware updates before they were written or they just didn't understand how to do it but I assure you that you will Firmware can update - just made. You simply go to the Magnavox website, download the update, unzip the file, burn it onto a data disc and insert it. I make it simple and clear. I had no problems with this player. I haven't experienced a disc that doesn't play on it, including new releases.
