Review on Magnavox NB530MGX Blu Ray Manufacture Refurbished by Ricky Mills

I bought this Blu-ray player from Walmart for $168. I had previously bought my parents a BD-Live Phillips player and decided I wanted one too. Well they didn't have them but they had one of these and the price looked great so I bought it. I am impressed. The difference between my Magnavox and my parents' Phillips is negligible (if any at all!) Quality is excellent, sound, compatibility comparable to more expensive Phillips models. The only thing this Blu-ray player is missing is an Ethernet port, but you can also upgrade Blu-ray players with a DVD or SD card, and yes, this Blu-ray player has an SD card card connector. "Twister" on Blu-ray, one of my favorite films, and loved the picture quality. Absolutely gorgeous colors, crisp, clear images and crystal clear sound. I feel like I bought this Blu-ray player at a bargain price given the price listed here. I'm very happy with it and plan on buying the new Star Trek movie when it finally comes out on Blu-ray (and out of theatres, but I'm so impatient!). Highly recommended for those of us on a budget! JW
