After the initial feeling of a defective product we are very happy with it. The snake broke loose as my husband continued to turn it, in a very clogged closed chute. I've read in customer comments that this is a common problem. I was advised by the company to return it. No advice. However, I decided to take it apart by simply turning in a few screws. Well I figured out how it works and put the end back in the hole that holds it. You have to bend the end of the snake to keep it in the hole. Put it back together and mark 2 inches on the snake with a red marker so the husband knows when to stop. Now works like a charm. Well done, once not stretched too far.
