I had a severe clog due to cottinelle wipes. After trying standard methods, bought this. Worked beautifully but scratched the bottom surface. I can live with the scratches in trade with a stinky unusable toilet.

Baby dropped comb in the toilet just as it was flushing. Toilet has not flushed in 5 days, got this in the mail today, took about 5 seconds to insert, grab the comb and pull it out! AWESOME!

I was greatly heartened when I read Amy J. McDonald's review of this item. I, too, accidentally poured a toothbrush down the toilet with a bucket of water - Doh! I received the auger today, and after a few attempts, voila, the tooth brush was extracted! This was worth every penny to resolve my clogging issue.

I deserved what I got because I read the bad reviews and said it was worth a try anyway. But it fell apart the first time I used it. Really bad quality. I'm just glad nothing broke off and became part of the blockage. Lesson learned - get an auger next time.

I was easily able to fish-out a toothbrush that my child flushed into the S-trap of the toilet. It only took 3-4 grabs to get the toilet paper and toothbrush dislodged when many folks said I would have to remove the toilet altogether. Great product!

This is more of a grabber than a snake. It's weak and get easily bound up. It also scratched the porcelain in my toilet. Maybe ok for a sink, but not for toilets.

Product arrived in decent packaging, but after first usage both the telescoping, and squeeze handler broke during first use. The grabber bulb at the end also got stuck and was difficult to remove.

This item was very promising when I looked at it on line to prevent removing clogged toilet. I would not go but a few inches through the curves in the toilet. Save yourself some time and just remove the toilet and have your shop vac handy!

I followed the instructions and managed to get the auger into the toilet and squeezed the handle to pull out an obstruction and something snapped and the handle no longer springs back or operated the "claws” basically got one use out of it. Would not recommend this product

This is a fantastic product that actually works very well. I bought the orange one. The only thing I will say is your better put some saran rap or something for the mess. Although it says the pump keeps it from getting messy, I promise you, it will get messy. But literally, just one pump and boom toilet cleared and has stayed clear. I’m not sure how well this product works for its intended purpose because mine never stood a chance as the grabber was broken on arrival. I tried just using it as a regular plumbing snake but unfortunately that didn’t resolve the issue.
