Great! Love them! good for me

I kept getting alot of compliments at work on how nice they are and the guys were jealous. I bought 2 more sets for my friends.

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • May adversely affect dexterity

Meets expectations for my opinion

So far the sleeves work well for me. My arms aren't that big, but I'm 6'-4", 230lbs and they fit me. The sleeves are long enough to fully cover my arms when I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt and the leather is as thick as my full welding coat. Nice product overall and I'd buy them again.

Pros
  • xxx
Cons
  • Velcro closure is not secure enough.

Really protects your arms.

Keeps my arms safe from abrasions and thorny brush. Well constructed. A little hot for summer temperatures, but I would rather be a little warm than getting scratches, and thorn punctures. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • ‎Yellow
Cons
  • May interfere with some welding helmets

Certainly buy again !

Thick insulation yet really flexable. Love em and hardly know there on. Good quality welders ! Worth the money I spent to get them.

Pros
  • ‎Solid
Cons
  • Can be bulky for mobility

Great for warm weather welding

After sweating through my welding jacket I needed something that would protect my arms but let me stay cool. These sleeves fit that bill perfectly. I’ve only used them while TIG welding so I haven’t experienced MIG welding spatter on them but they seem think enough to protect against that as well.

Pros
  • MORE DURABLE: Sewing with strong, heat resistant US Kevlar thread. Made of thick split cowhide for durability. And it is wear & flame-resistant for protection from flame and spatter. We pay attention to every detail, emphasis on quality.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all industries

If you have long arms don't buy these

Two things really. 1) I read others reviews and they claimed they had long/big arms and these sleeves were fine. Clearly they really don't have long/big arms. My t shirt sleeves go to my elbow and with these leathe sleeves on they are still 2-3" short from my glove.2) I like the idea of the velcrow strap to tighten them. But they don't stay tight at all. They were sliding down. Now they might have slide down if they were 2-3" long since then my glove would be stopping them from sliding. If you…

Pros
  • They are easy to put on and stay in place. The protection from the heat is great
Cons
  • Can be heavy compared to other welding sleeves

Good quality and worth the price.

These sleeves so far seem well made and fit well around the wrist, not too tight, but I'm not a huge wristed person either. The only thing that could make them better would be an adjustable strap attached to both that you could put over each shoulder to keep them from sliding down. Just a thought. I might modify mine and see.

Pros
  • The dual sleeve is a nice addition and would recommend
Cons
  • Sleeves may not provide full coverage for all parts of the arm

Keeps you safe in my review

Bought this product to use as a heat shield for stoking fire. Keep arms from burning. Works awesome! Would recomend and buy again!

Pros
  • Fixing to wear them to weld.
Cons
  • Not resistant to all chemicals and acids

Saving my husbands skin!

My husband's arms look like he has been in battle after working outside. Medication causes his skin to be fragile. These sleeves are designed for welding, but they so the trick to protect his arms and allowing him to do the work he enjoys with out bleeding arms.

Pros
  • Hot, but worth it to protect arms
Cons
  • Not designed for full body protection

Leather working sleeves

I was grinding up tree debris and encountered growth with wicked thorns worse than rose bushes and in my advanced age m skin is very thin and my arms were being torn up. These solved my problem completely, no more skin injuries.Great product!

Pros
  • Bot these 4 my friend to protect his skin graft arm & they fit him perfect, he's a big dude to!
Cons
  • Fabric may weaken over time

Leather welder's arm sheaths

My husband did not ask for these. I just bought them thinking they would be useful. He absolutely is soooooo happy to have them. I imagine he'll want another pair.

Pros
  • Does what it’s suppose to
Cons
  • Not tight ent

Sturdy, good split cowhide

I use these in summer with bee keeping gloves to protect my arms from heavy briars (also when grooming my cat - she's not very happy about it). They fit perfectly for me, are a little tight for my husband, and they might be too tight for someone with larger diameter upper arms. That is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros
  • Great product overall, it's holding up great. But the wrists are really tight so I had to rig it up.
Cons
  • Not bite-resistant

They do the job. on my review.

I ordered these for some extra shielding from the heat when leaning in and they work great allowing me more time to stay in one spot. The downside is the straps don’t hold very well, but there are loops inside them I plan on fashioning something to loop over my shoulders to connect to and then they’ll be fine.

Pros
  • I bought these as a gift for my son who is a welder. These sleeves work great.
Cons
  • Can cause overheating in some situations

Comfortable and practical

Amazing comfortable fit! Easily slips on due to internal lining. Nice thick pliable leather DOES NOT feel cumbersome and bulky.

Pros
  • Very comfortable and fit great
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other welding attire

Great to protect your arms!

This product is perfect for my at home welding projects. I notice that my watch is exposed when welding with the gloves I was using. These leather sleeves work great to protect my arms. Quality is good & well made.

Pros
  • Used for welding and torching
Cons
  • Not puncture-resistant

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Situational at best.

They do an amazing job at keeping your arms from getting falling sparks and slag from the sides. But unless you are wearing sleeves long to cover the top then these aren't for you.And the design on the velcro is good in item but fails in practice. Since the tops can't be tightened down unless folding them in on itself and then using the velcro the sleeves will keep slipping. They can't get tight enough to stay up. Slag/sparks fall down into sleevesThey are great at be great resistant from the…

Cons

Good protection on my review.

I would have liked the elastic to be tighter, being a woman who welds it’s difficult to find much designed for woman. Otherwise they do what they are designed to do.

Pros

Cons
  • Needs regular cleaning to avoid dirt buildup

Protection that fits

Great protective welding sleeves fit well, stay up and are adjustable. Just about all the sleeves I've ever worn were either too tight on the biceps or too short to do their job. These fit me well. The wrists are a bit tight, a little difficult to get my hands through, but I suspect they will stretch out after a few uses. Nice thick leather and strong stitching should keep these in service for a long time.

Pros
  • Is perfect for me great thickness and good adjustable strap on your upper arm
Cons
  • Cannot be used for other purposes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Better than other protective sleeves I’ve used

Great for the price. Effective for their intended use of protecting my arms from weld spatter. Only objection was the cuffs were too tight. Easily fixed with my knife, though. I would, and have recommended them, and will buy them again.

Pros
  • Works as intended
Cons
  • Buckles or straps may break easily

Great when pruning palm trees

The last time I worked on our palm trees the thorns/spikes tore up my hands & arms. I have leather gloves (didn't wear them, my bad) and wanted something to protect my arms for next time and these did the job. A little warm when wearing them, but worth it for the protection.

Pros
  • ‎One Size Fit Most
Cons
  • Can be difficult to replace if lost or damaged
