I think in looking for a gel pack most people want one that remains cold longer and doesn't get all wet on the outside while using. The TrekProof gel bags (2 in order) meet both requirements. So I bought this to use after surgery. I thought the velcro wrap was a nice idea, but to be honest I'm in too much pain to handle the pressure from a "wrap" to try it out. but what I didn't consider was that the cloth side insulates it well enough that I can apply that directly to skin without it being too cold. I purchased the hot & cold pack and they are working out great! I have a chronic shoulder injury that flares up occasionally, the ability to use the packs for both hot and cold is a really nice feature. It came in a 2 pack, which allows me to keep one in my freezer and one out that I can warm in the microwave. Using it for my neck,I do wish could anchor it on better but otherwise it feels great and cold! It stay in place easily if you sit down and have your back against a chair but to be up walking around doing stuff you have to somehwat use neck shoulders to hold in place.

I love this product so much it helps to alleviate my rib pain. I recommend it to all of my rib pain friends! That's my feedback.

I just received them and am using them for neck pain relief. First impression is that they are very sturdy compared to others I have used for sure. I feel like i can reuse these a lot and they'll be okay. They heat pretty quickly and uniformly and hold the heat well too. Being pliable is great as it can fit closely to the affected area for the best relief as well.

It's easy to use, you can make it ready via refrigerator and then can keep it on affected area and rest comfortablly. The product may not effectively treat nerve-related pain.

I have only used this product as a cold pack so far, but I am very satisfied with it. It freezes quickly and stays cold for at least 20 minutes, which is the longest anyone should be using a cold pack at a stretch. These gel packs get cold enough to be effective but not so cold that I have to wrap them in towels before using them, though I do recommend applying the over a T-shirt or similar thin fabric to protect the skin. These were a little smaller than I thought due to oval shape. Surprisingly do the job very well. Using on neck curve well because they are smaller. Doing a good job for what I need.I'm a small lady 5'2"

I froze the ice pack for 60 minutes when it arrived in the mail. Afterward I used this cooling pack outside when I shoot arrows in the 100 degree plus weather in Texas. It made me feel cool, like it was in the 85* double digits vs. the 100* triple digits. I would highly recommend this product to others.

I have many different ice packs at this point so I am quite picky. Here are my pros and cons.Pros: Gets cold quickly! I can re-ice an are several times a day. The size doesn't take up too much room in my freezer. I like that it can also be heated. The heating process can be done very quickly even from a frozen state. I know that title is silly because these are ice packs. But they are really cold. Some how they retain the cold longer than other "frozen peas” style ice packs that I’ve used. They do have a felt side that keeps it from burning your skin but I think it could probably be a little thicker and stronger. They also freeze a bit stick so it takes awhile for them to warm up and reshape. I’ve been using them for my knee and have to keep repositioning it.

These ice packs are high quality & very durable. I bought them to replace some that kept busting open & I had to throw away. These seem to be made well & hopefully, will hold up better since I use them multiple times per week. My older ice packs also weren't very flexible after being in the freezer & I had to let them thaw a bit before wrapping around my knees. Your product is great & doesn't cause me this issue.
