For 9 cards, a pair of paper IDs such as insurance cards and so on and multiple bills. It's thin and compact. Cards are easy to remove and just put back in your wallet. The elastic could be a little firmer and a little firmer/elastic. I'm concerned this might not last and a little more tension would be nice to keep the cards in the wallet. I added an extra elastic for a little extra bill protection, which also allows me to carry a temporary card or two - like a hotel key card to carry outside of the wallet so it can be used without taking out the band. I will say for the durability but so far I like this wallet.
