Review on πŸ“± Black Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Smartphone - 6/128 GB by Stanislaw Grzechnik ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

Excellent value for the money; it does its intended purpose well without breaking the bank. Even if you check the battery and make sure it's in good condition before you buy, it still won't last very long if you use it frequently. Indeed, the same holds true for pretty much any cutting-edge smartphone in this price range. Since 2022, you will be able to buy something more serious, therefore I took it a long time ago.

Pros
  • The phone's design is solid; it has a comfortable size and shape, being neither too little nor too wide. Since I don't use it for games but rather for conversation, I find the performance to be excellent; I can have multiple instant messengers open at once and listen to music or browse the web without any hiccups. Prior to that, there existed a more entry-level Xiaomi model. Everything that was crucial was successfully transferred to the new phone via the MIUI sync. Since there aren't too many preinstalled apps to begin with, there's really no reason to rut. The optimization program does a great job of shutting down extraneous processes and clearing out junk. The camera was perfect for me; I don't treat it with any sort of fanaticism, but I still get good results from it. In general, most things offer good value. In fact, there's a fingerprint reader included!
Cons
  • The battery is 4000mAh, but unfortunately it needs to be charged constantly; even with light use, by the time you go home in the evening, it's dead. Perhaps I picked it up from a different retailer. It's possible that the phone wasn't used for a long period before being sold, draining the battery. That's true, and it's an optimistic take, but you can't just swap out the battery like that because it's built in. I replaced the battery in my broken Xiaomi, and it worked a little better, but not much better. They told me they could hear less clearly than in their previous Xiaomi Redmi 2, but that was a really picky person's complaint. Well, in "auto" mode, this firmware does not do a great job of regulating the brightness of the screen, leaving it rather bright and requiring manual adjustment.
