I was happy with the gate upon arrival, it seemed solid, well made, good finish, well packed, etc. Upon installation, the fixed side of the latch sat higher than the swinging side of the latch. This mean that the gate could still be closed and latched, but that the auto-close/latch function did not work (it bounced back without latching). I contacted Cumbor and got a quick reply with a request for a video of the closing/latching issue. After I provided this, Cumbor quickly offered to send a replacement gate. The replacement gate came quickly with no hassle and works as advertised.The photo shows a somewhat temporary installation without the cups on the wall. I redid the installation with the replacement gate and cups and couldn't be happier. The gate swings both ways, holds open at 90° both ways easily and auto closes/latches from either direction. It is a bit loud when it auto close/latches from 90°, but that is to be expected.just close it softly if you've got a baby sleeping.The installation was relatively straight forward and easy by one person with the replacement unit.Perfect gate for my needs and stellar customer service, I would recommend buying this product from Cumbor with confidence.
