Review on Time Sert M8X1 25 Thread Repair 1812 by Loren Schmidt

I have used spiral coils for repairs in the past and they have worked well. However, this cleaned hole was on a part that took many days to access the hull and I needed a highly reliable repair. The kit is well packaged and protected, appears to be of high quality and has worked flawlessly in this repair. The last condition almost made me "fix" the surrounding holes (it was perfectly normal). Verdict: Expensive as I needed the full kit initially, but it's worth the investment for the job. If the hole was in a more accessible location, I would just size the helical coil and use my existing set of drills and dies. But now that I have the set this will be my first choice in the future.
