I've never had a BBQ and just started this summer. So this kit seems to be what I was looking for, specifically something to keep track of the temperature of the meat. It was easy to open the packaging, the products seemed to be of good quality and strong enough to last more than a summer. And they came at the perfect time: 4th of July weekend! I was most looking forward to using the thermometer and was pleasantly surprised. It has an on/off button with a clear display of Fahrenheit and Celsius - there's a button to toggle between them - and two other buttons that I couldn't use. The gloves might look a little sketchy, but I already use a cooking glove made from a similar oven material. Only there is no cloth-like material inside; it's all plastic material. A bit narrow to fit your hands in although they should come right out of the box. It seems to be a one size fits all as it seemed to curve around my arms. But they worked like a charm. Straight off the grill or oven, I didn't have to worry about burning my hands like I usually do. Chop the pulled pork. I could try and have them take the meat as well or flip it on the grill, especially large ones like a rib or porterhouse steak. Or even break your ribs. In general, the purchase is very satisfied. About $20 for a set of BBQ tools, some may not even know they need them, but once they have them, they will know they really need them to keep everyone happy this summer.
