Review on Men'S & Women'S 3048 Ultralight Athletic Running Socks W/ Seamless Toe, Moisture Wicking, Cushion Padding by Daniel Oliver

Took these to the marathon. I should have known better then to try out something new on the day of the race, but these socks got great reviews. They were ok feeling in terms of softness and they did wick away moisture, but everything else about the socks wasn’t good. By mile 4 some of the color had rubbed off the toes. I was slipping in my shoes the entire time because the socks didn’t grip at all. I’ve never worn socks that slipped in shoes before. That made the race all the more difficult until I changed to my old marathon socks. I ended up throwing these socks away and if you know me, the product has to be pretty bad for me to waste money like that. I gave it two stars because it does wick away moisture. If I had to do it over, I wish I would have purchased some other pair of socks.
