I'm not new to plant-based protein powders, so the texture and slightly odd taste aren't a problem for me. The taste is blueberry, the smell more like wheat germ (?). Maybe it's from the spirulina. If you don't like stevia, this isn't for you. I don't think it's overwhelming and they balance the flavor with monk fruit. I mixed mine with 1/2 cup oat milk, 6 ounces water, half a banana, and 1/2 cup frozen blueberries. I eat mostly plant-based and love digestive enzymes, vitamins and minerals.
