Review on RF 1030 Apex Filter Cartridge by Apex by John Clark

After purchasing this item, I was contacted by Apex who informed me that it wasn't really compatible with my old Apex base and that they needed to send me a new base. Their message was prompt and they agreed to send me an extra connector hose free of charge at my request, but I've had this filter for almost a week now and the parts needed for it have not arrived. Once they arrive I'll have to disassemble the unit to fit a new base in order for the filter to work with the new apex body. I believe this only applies to older top bases and it's a very easy 5 minute job that also cleans the canister and spout which is good at least once or twice a year. They were very responsive and active in their communication. and efforts to address this problem. This is a quality filter made in the USA, an attribute almost impossible to find these days. You will be very satisfied with the quality of this filter and the fantastic taste of your water. I can definitely recommend Apex. You can feel good about supporting them and they make a great product.
