I bought 2 NVR systems with 800 cameras. problematic motion-activated cameras. In the case of an outdoor application, this is not a working time. I am extremely disappointed. The software is full of bugs. The range of motion on these cameras is practically zero unless you apply full high sensitivity at the highest level, which is useless for using a motion-activated system. because he works with cameras 24 hours a day. If you reduce the sensitivity of the cameras even by 10%, they will only work if someone comes into view from a few meters away. You will not include motion recording in the application where you want to watch the front gate from a camera 30 feet away. They work with high sensitivity, but then even a worm crawling across the street activates the camera. There's no sensitivity in the mid-range, and below 50% of the sensitivity range they don't trigger on motion detection, only from just a few feet away from the camera. I am satisfied with the resolution of the cameras. Nice cameras. In my applications, I figured these cameras would detect motion up to 60-80 feet with medium sensitivity. These cameras only detect movement with very high sensitivity and then only up to a distance of 20 to 25 feet. Despite this, they only perceive movements in the center of the camera's field of view. You feel no movement in the periphery of the visual field. The NVR unit is very light, I don't think the HDD will be that heavy. But luckily, you can add a REAL hard drive to the system. The recommended way of using them is with MOTION DETECTION as stated in the manual. I downloaded the manual and studied it for many days before purchasing. It looks good on paper. I've installed it over and over again and it's been working for hours. Next time I check, some cameras are back in manual recording mode, others are off. This is just one of many software issues I've encountered. It's just a bad situation around. The only decent thing about this system is the video quality from the cameras. but otherwise it's not a working system for serious security. You get what you pay for.
