Wow I've been shaving my mustache since 8th grade thick black hair and I used this tonight after years of shaving. I used my acne meds but I washed them off and ran the shower water over my face and then everything was fine, no more stinging and burning. Just use a plastic spatula to remove hairs that won't scratch the skin. Rinse very well before applying the acne medication after a standing shower with the acne medication and run clean warm water over your face for 10-15 minutes to ensure the acne cream and face are washed off and the tingling and burning has stopped.
