I bought this to keep in my trunk for emergencies and the first time I tried to use it the power/flashlight came on. I set the desired PSI and the compressor does not run. doesn't work at all. I've tried switching the power supply, making sure my car is getting the correct current, turning it on and off, setting the PSI higher than necessary, but the supercharger motor still won't turn on. For a product this highly rated, I can't believe it didn't work at least once. I ended up having less air in my tires after deflating due to valve sticking and detachment. I don't recommend anyone to buy it as you can't be sure you'll get a working one. Edit 9/10/2017 I called EPAuto about my tire pump issue but hung up shortly after being unable to reach support. A few days later I got a call back and after a short discussion they offered to send me a brand new block free of charge. I didn't get a chance to test it until recently when I pumped up my wife's spare tire in her trunk. The manufacturer recommended pressure for this part is 60psi. He quickly made it to about 45psi, where he slowed down dramatically. In the end he got the job done, so I can't blame him for that. Pros: This air compressor has one of the best cable management systems I've used in the past; There are slots for attaching an air hose around the unit with additional slots for holding the 12v cord at the base of the leg. It also comes in a zipped holdall. Setting the desired tire pressure is also very quick, as the numbers scroll very quickly. Cons: Pumping slows down dramatically at higher PSI settings. The backlight of the device cannot be switched off either. Not too many cons as long as this one works!
