I chose this model so my truck can charge my RV battery without taking it home having to charge on wheels. Battery. It does its job, works and allows me to turn my 12 volt fridge on and plug it into the truck while driving. Unfortunately, the ignition lock is annoying. There is no way to mount this in the engine bay of my truck or under my truck so it is not exposed to the elements. So how the heck am I supposed to get a 12 volt ignition switch all the way to the RV? Instead, I just have to remember to turn off the camper every time I turn off the truck or it will drain my pickup truck's battery. which happened one day and killed the truck. Low Voltage Cutoff would be SO EASY to add! Add a potentiometer that detects turning off when the input voltage drops below 12.6V! This essentially gives you an ignition controlled shutdown method as your truck battery will safely discharge to 12.6v and your rig will still start fine and go above 12.6v when charging. A simple fix that is annoying. not included.
