I have a 6 year old kid, and the best thing about this car is the controller is simple to use. Up/Down and Left/Right buttons that he can get quickly.I will say it is much smaller than I had anticipated, but it is fast and well built. My kid loves driving it off the curb and seeing it jump or crash - and it has held up fine. I think he likes this the best because it's the easiest of all the remote control cars he has had, but it's also one of the more fun ones to drive! Decent range and good response add to the fun.The battery for the car charges with an included USB connector - the remote takes 2 AA batteries that are included but not rechargeable. Decent battery life, my kid drove this thing for 20+ minutes straight - and it was still going strong.
