Review on Diamond (Original) SRH77CA Dual-Band High Gain Handheld Antenna: Enhanced Reception from 120~900 MHz, 440 MHz Gain, 10W Power, 15" Length by Alberto Brewster

Bought this antenna to use on Uniden SDS100. The Revain website lists it as an option in the Frequently Bought Together section. Although both the SDS100 and this antenna use an SMA connector, the design of the SDS100 is such that this antenna does not screw all the way in and makes no connection. I replaced this antenna with an identical one with a BNC connector, using the SMA to BNC adapter that came with the SDS100 and everything works fine. Despite that, I gave it a five star rating. The antenna does what it is supposed to do. I live in a remote area with few towers and repeaters. It adds fringes and improves reception which is why I bought it. The seller processed the return and refund quickly and without any problems. If you are looking for an antenna to improve reception from the fringes of your scanner then you should consider this antenna - either the Diamond (Original) SRH77CA which is the SMA version. or RH77CA connected to BNC.
