You can see very well through the screen
I made a PVC frame for it and recently hung it up. My 2 big takeaways in daylight are that I wish it had twice as many grommets. and that it seemed transparent, but I've seen other reviewers say it's not that bad when used, so I was hopeful. I did my first nighttime use test last night and was able to see fully through the screen both when facing the street with ambient light behind it and when I turned it to face the other side of the yard. I want to buy something with heavier material for a little more money.
