Review on J.A. Henckels International Forged Premio 8-Inch Chef Knife, Black by Debra Riley

Recommended by Consumer Reports in October 2021. Bought as a gift for my wife. It has a good weight, a sharp blade and a thickness that does not interfere with cutting. As this is a gift, use of the knife should be deferred until my wife uses it. It doesn't seem to have the issues mentioned in previous reviews, such as: B. a flexible blade, oxidized coating or chipping on the cutting edge. Since it hasn't been used yet, I'll have to see if there are any problems with using it. We do not wash knives in the dishwasher, only by hand. I'll see if the consumer reports are correct.
