I have three Chihuahuas that either can't jump on furniture or I want to keep them from jumping to prevent back problems. I bought a smaller ladder and was a little apprehensive due to some bad reviews, but the ladder's durability was exactly what I was looking for. Foam just doesn't hold. I am very happy that I chose this product! The ladder is the perfect size for small dogs. I had the two tier foam version of the same size and my dogs either couldn't climb the large ladder or were afraid it would move due to lack of strength. This product stays in place, is the perfect ladder size for small dogs, and looks great! It has been very well made and I can see that it will last for many, many years.
