Big buoy for open water swims.

It's a rather big buoy, so if you're more into fast, competitive training you might want to look for a smaller one. You can store quite a bit in it (most I did was 1l water bottle, flip flops, phone, small bottle of sunscreen a shirt and a small camping towel.) but electronics definitely have to go in a real dry bag as the storage compartment IS NOT WATERPROOF!The straps is rather long, which I like, since if comes handy when resting on the buoy from time to time.

Pros

Highly Visible in Open Water: The brightly colored swim buoy is extremely noticeable for swimmers and triathletes in open water. You easily spot by your buddy or other people from a distance due to its high visibility. The swim buoy would also provide you with extra security against passing boats and jet skis in open water among the waves. Giving you confidence and peace of mind.

Cons

Users may find it difficult to balance or swim with the additional weight of the float

Don''t bother with this swim buoy. It took forever to be shipped, then the seam came apart after the second use. It was not over inflated. Invest in something more expensive. We wanted an economic solution and are paying the price.
