After plugging this display in, updating the drivers in Windows 11 (seriously, go to the website and update your drivers!), and adjusting some display settings, I noticed that there are lines on the desktop images. There are also other points that I initially noticed but can't remember exactly where, so I'm not sure if the lines are related to the VA screens or if they are mine and others aren't, but there it is won't show up in games and they won't show up when I'm coding or writing, I'll just learn to ignore them. Also, I like having a 1440p screen for pretty much everything I do. Yes, it gets a little weird when I scroll through the document (due to motion blur), but still, at about 2 feet from the screen, everything becomes easier to read and much easier to read or write long lines of code and I don't have to lots of scrolling to continue working on the same section, which is definitely nice. Yes, the blur means I can't scroll slowly through the read anymore, but then again, since I scroll a lot less, it's probably blur in general. I also really like the high refresh rate, although I definitely don't use it for reading. This is most complete with the games I play (LoL games, Timberborn, Bloons TD etc.) and in games where you have less graphic control settings (when watching bloons) you can flash this interesting screen but it is actually pretty minor when you actually play, but games where I can control the settings doesn't happen in the game itself. This can sometimes happen on loading screens, but again, it's pretty minor. Overall, this is a decent budget 1440p monitor with decent features that goes well with my desk. I have it on a monitor arm with a second screen and although the arm was designed for 24" monitors the curvature means it fits the 27" screen nicely without the angle of my secondary 24" 1080p - Distort the screen. Also, unlike some other brands in this price range, it had a Vesa 100 mount and a standard computer cable to power it, so I didn't have to run a separate cable (I already have a computer cable splitter to power my 2 monitors to supply ) compared to many brands, which was a plus for me, but maybe not for you. Finally, it doesn't have an overly thick bezel, but the monitor controls are difficult to use without their software, so be sure to download it too if you're buying a monitor to set it up for your environment.
