Great fun for my young scientist
Great fun for my young scientist! Bought this for my 8 year old and it was definitely his favorite birthday gift. He got it over two months ago and it's still in constant use. The accompanying book makes it easier for him to navigate and understand the circuit diagrams and he can make his own variations. I like that the parts are clearly labeled and that the original packaging, while not very sturdy, does a good job of keeping things organized. Educational, of course, because he can tell me why certain ways of connecting circuits work or don't work. Additionally, the symbols used on the parts and in the book are the same as those used on actual electrical circuits he might encounter in the future.
