So happy I found this!

Our sliding door was installed in 2000. And inside the locking mechanism, something has worn out over time or simply failed. Also, we thought our existing pen was also outdated. So this handle has definitely given our patio door a nice new, clean, updated look. And the locking mechanism screws into place with a simple adjustment. So at minimal cost compared to replacing the entire door. Great option. We couldn't be happier.
