Purchased to secure SSD boot drive and SATA HDD. When you insert an SSD, it slides along one side of the case to fit into a hinge under the raised end of the case. The big problem is how to remove the drive. The disc fits into the connector very snugly and there is nothing on the disc itself to pull it out as it is now flush along one edge and along the bottom. The only way to grab it is to lift the end of the disc to slip your finger under it, but the link is made of durable plastic and can't be bent. This pulled the drive out, but I think if you do this too often it will either damage the drive's connection or damage the case. If I let it I'll tape the disc (like you see smoke detectors in the battery compartments) but seriously how does this thing come out of the store. Removing a SATA drive is easier, but not as simple. The only reason to keep it is so it lays flat and can sit on top of the computer. Other than that, there's no reason.
