Review on Pana-Vue Automatic Lighted 2x2 Slide Viewer for 35mm: Enhance Your Slide Viewing Experience! by Fred Massingill

I bought this for a Kodak 35mm slide show in cardboard frames. It serves a purpose. Once you develop a hand motion rhythm that avoids clogging in the discharge chute, mechanically it seems to work the same as the original version I used 30-40 years ago. The backlight is fairly bright, although some unevenness in the light intensity from the light source (incandescent bulbs) is noticeable. The inner surfaces between the slide and the lens are made of smooth black plastic and create peripheral reflections around the slide's main image but do not interfere with the main central image. The image is enlarged enough to give a general view of the content of the slides and quite a bit of image detail can be discerned.
