I've tried so hard to make this thing work. I have a feeling mine might be defective because once the foil is in place you have to turn the cog to push the cover out of the plastic foil which then installs the meter. However, once you take a picture and turn the knob to eject the film, you have to turn it so hard that the counter scrolls 3-4 times before the film comes out. But most importantly, the image quality is terrible. I increased the brightness and everything was still too dark, but there were also very bright highlights. I then tried to edit the photos before printing to brighten them and reduce the contrast. Nothing I did made the photos usable. I got a movie package for it which was a huge waste of money.
