Beware of Epson inkjet products. I have not used my Epson WorkForce printer much for the past couple years and so I had prepared to replace the ink. So I order replacement ink thinking this would restore the printer to working condition. Silly me. Little did I know it still wouldn't print well with NEW ink. I had to "clean the heads", and all are cleaned concurrently even if some are already cleaned. The color heads cleaned up rather quickly but the black head would not. After the 5th cleaning 100% of the color ink was consumed and the black was still in need of cleaning. However, Epson will not allow you to continue cleaning when you're out of color ink. I guess they want you to continue to buy more ink until maybe perhaps eventually after hundreds of dollars are expended the black one cleans up. And that I refuse to do! So I have wasted all my money on this purchase and have a printer that prints very poorly in black only. This is a scam. There should be a way to replace the heads or clean only the one(s) requiring it. I refuse to buy more ink since it costs about as much as a new printer. I'm done with inkjet printers. I've decided to just buy a monochrome laser printer to never have to deal with ink again!
